Draft Time

We are less than 90 hours away from the draft so this is the week where the rumors really start flying. First it seems the Josh Allen to Cleveland rumors are just that…rumors. To me this makes a lot of sense but this is the Browns we are talking about so anything is possible. Sam Darnold seems to be the clubhouse favorite but everything still seems to be in play. The more interesting pick for Cleveland may come at #4 to see how else is off the board as we anticipate at least one trade to happen before they are on the clock. In fact, don’t discount the Browns trading this pick away themselves.

 

New York Giants at #2

Will it be a quarterback? Is the love for Saquon Barkley real in New York? Will the choice be Bradley Chubb to help with a below-average pass rush? Will the Giants trade down and go for interior lineman Quenton Nelson? This is probably going to change on our boards a few times between now and draft night as we hear about potential deals. We are leaning heavier towards Barkley at this point but Chubb or Sam Darnold remain  a possibility if the Browns somehow go in a direction other than Darnold.
